Happy 2nd Birthday Jack!

Dear Jack,

You're two!  Happy birthday my sweet boy.  You've had quite a year!  You are talking, talking, talking now.  Some of your favorite things to say are, "Come on" while you're holding someone's hand and dragging bringing them with you, "Dat my dog!", and "I do it!"  You're becoming very independent and want to do everything by yourself.

You love to play with the dog - you and Max are great buddies.  You like to pile your toys in your shopping cart and push them around the house.  You love some stuffed animals.  You want to write all the time, love to play with Play-Doh, and your favorite thing to do is play outside.  You don't care what you're doing outside - swimming, running, playing on the swing set, in the sandbox, blowing bubbles, going for a walk - you just want to be out.

You like to dance, run, jump, do somersaults, spin around in circles until you fall down, climb anything you can, jump from one piece of furniture to another. . . you're very, very active!

You are the quintisential boy in that you are so, so sweet sometimes, but very tough others.  You love your brothers very much, and would like to just follow them around all day long.  You don't really like "baby" toys.  You'd rather be playing Star Wars with them or jumping on the bed.  You also, I think, have a future in some technological profession.  You LOVE a cell phone or computer!

You started school this year with "Ninny" and "Ninner" (Ginny and Ginger) and have charmed everyone at the school.  You are a very charming little boy - sweet and loving most of the time.

You will eat anything!  Some of your favorite foods are bananas, grapes, strawberries, yogurt, chicken in any form, hot dogs, cheese, pancakes, waffles, pizza, spaghetti, and anything someone else is eating.

You are such a sweet boy, and you have certainly made our family complete.  You have an almost constant smile, and have been a very happy boy from the start.  You are a great sleeper (still in your crib!) and wake up happy every day.  I love you so, so much and can't believe my baby is already two years old.  I can't wait to see what the next year brings for you.

Happy Second Birthday sweet baby Jack!
Love,
Mama
